Parts for the Mikuni TMR41 are getting very scarce so I'm thinking of jumping to the Keihin FCR41 (Found some good deals on used ones that I would rebuild before using). Anyone make this update and if so was there any issues with fitment- into intake manifold or air box boot? Could I get close on jetting by using the specs of the '05 Husky SM450r. I would imagine the TPS setting would be close but I'm sure the connections are different.
    Thanx for any help

I have a friend that did on his 2004 TC 450 and it greatly improved starting.

Could you find out if he purchased the FCR new or bought a used from an Asian bike- if so ,what model? I know the Mikuni is a 41mm, but I read somewhere the FCR body may need a sleeve to lengthen it.
