- Initial break-in done, valves right in spec, nothing moved.
- Suspension dialed in a little better
- CV4 hoses, pulled the fan.
- Changed the bars, messed with the controls a little

2012 TXC 250...great jump from the 1-2-5.

Local testing area on Saturday; short clips, be sure and turn the sound up...

Yes. Have a friend thats got the prime acreage that you see bordering Indiantown federal land.

He keeps the idiots off, but welcomes a few serious types and loves to sit on his atv and and take it all in...

I acknowledge this track as a vital part of the national title search; great trails to put together for a 2 to 3 mile loop and keep the hammer down.
Andy spent the better part of two hours doing what he does...great peg time.

Both within 15 minutes...I do consider myself lucky.

Motor wise - nothing but change the oil and check the valves. Started in on the suspension right away.
Gearing with the stock 13/50 seems right on the money, mostly 2nd-3rd-4th thru the woods.
The biggest thing is the handeling...a lot like the 1-2-5.

I do have the donation of a year old full Pro Circuit Ti-4R system on the way. We'll see what that does for it and then adjust.

Right now the motor is very consistant and smooth; a really good thing. He has three hours at a pop to maintain race pace...

Like I said...Could be an interesting year!

Nice number, where did 515 come from?

When he started he just liked '15'. But his official national number for the GNCC in 2012 should be 207 to go with his 7th place overall for the series for the morning bikes.
He could not get 15 and does not want to change numbers every year so he had choices of 315, 415 and 515 with the GNCC people...So 515 it is...I like it.

Funny and Thanks, the 'red' thing was bought new to play around the fields. Wanted a clutch for him and something I could take to the races for a pit bike...just so happend he wanted to try racing and they had a '110 aircooled' class...perfect fit...bike could take a beating though.

I did finally dress it up a bit...check out the FMF Can and the mud flap for the air cooling thing...

You made a good choice with the TXC 250... Glad to have Andy in the afternoon class this year!!!

Glad you stayed with Husqvarna, and I knew he would really dig the x-lite bike coming off the 125. I love my TC250 but still like to play with the 125 for fun.

I'd say relaxed and focused in the key to his success. I remember at the Ironman saying how effortless he made it look, and he was hauling. He blew through this one nasty section almost tapped out, like it was nothing, right through the middle of all the carnage. Me and my buddy just looked at each other with one of those big eyed, "did you see that?" looks.

Great thread you revived. I see Andy occasionally in the shop and Im sure he has no idea who #299 is in B Vet haha but Im glad he's doing well. I work on "the other side of the fence" at the Gap and I told Chris Walmer to put a good word in for me haha. Id love to be able to practice 15 minutes from my house instead of driving up to Myles' or to St Clair.

Watch out for leaves when they get wet on ground! Typically around this time of the year in the northeast., they get slippery
