We need a heads-up display in our helmets I think ... I rode all day today and almost never can take my eyes off the road to view my vapor, which I'd like to do but can't most of the time ... RPM and MPH will do me for now ..maybe miles ridden today also ...
A company tried to create something along those lines a few years back, I can't remember their name. At the time my buddy worked at "Tech TV" and they asked me to do a ride and review but the prototype never showed up? I saw pictures of it and it was a little bulky device that mounted to the visor...if I run across any old photos I'll post them. This is still a very cool idea that's way past it's prime, should have been mainstream years ago.
I'd like for the dirt riding but the street riders are where it would really be practical ... ever rode a crotch-rocket? U can not, and I mean can not take UR eyes off the road and even glance down at the meters without taking a big big risk as they are so fast ... The military has had it for decades ....
