FE/FC Help change from kph to mph on 2014 te310r?

so the other day I just got myself a new husky a 2014, it's the 310 and the units on my tachometer are still in kph. the manual says bring it into any Husqvarna dealer but I know that there are sometimes ways around having to do this so if there's any way I can have these changed by just going into my garage and fiddling with it let me know!

You need 3 hands to do it: Engine off. Press & hold speedo scroll button. Pull clutch & push start button. Keep holding the scroll button untill the km/h or mph symbol is displayed. Release button . Kmh and mph will alternately flash. Push button to select units. It took me numerous tries, I think because I didnt hold the button long enuff to make the units flash after bike started.

Do you know if this same process works on the 2013 TE310R?

It does work. Based on additional research, I would add that you need to start the bike first and set the display to ODOMETER mode. Then turn off and follow procedure above. 3rd hand a definite must.

When my o' meter was on Km's, the hour meter worked. When I switched to miles the hour meter went dead & stuck on 0. Is there a way to fix this?
