Owner says it a 91 510 TC. Not so sure. Does anyone know. I do not have numbers to ID myself. Help is appreciated. Hwy
Ok, now he says it's a 1990 TC510...I really don't know where he's getting the info from - title or frame? I suspect he does not know. He says he has the title but did not have it in from of him. Anyway, no title is not a problem, it will add about $200 getting it bonded for new title. I hate to ask being a noob on this site (although Coffee may know me from RDF and TTalk) but I see your are next door to this guy in SoCal - can you inspect it for me? I'll pay for an inspection.
I went and took a peek at the bike for Art on Saturday. Ran great, but it's a little rough. Here are the pics I took. http://s403.photobucket.com/albums/pp113/pperrelle/Husky/
be careful for the magnesium parts of the liquid cooling system, when not taken care of they corrode like crazy. Just be aware and inspect well.
Thanks again Paul for the look-see. I made an offer for the bike. I was hoping for a good runner but this looks to be a parts donor bike. We'll see.
Actually, this would be a great fixer-upper. If it runs good, you've got 75% of the fixering uppering done. Take that baby home, add a little powder coat here and there, some high-temp paint and a few do-dads, and she'd be a real beauty. I love fixer-uppers. It's a good way to let off some steam and get some down time.
