Looking to purchase my first husky. 2009 610 TE with 19k miles. What are the known issues with this year/model? Also, what should I be looking for and asking the dealer/owner before making my final decision. Seems like a good deal, but maybe too good to be true. Link to the bike below. Thanks in advance! https://www.motorado.com/inventory/.../610-TE/2009/Lakewood/Colorado/5857205/D01288
Yes, the threads are active. The members are not. Social media has made them lazy and uninterested in supporting the special community that has been lovingly created just for them by the people who think that it is relevant.
Can someone please help me! I want to buy before it's sold, but I want to know what to look for so I don't get swindled.
Bikes are getting old, parts get harder to find, information gets harder to find aswell. My 2011 SMS 630 still has a fair bit of parts availability for it, but you really need to keep that in mind buying one of these. Ask them about maintenance and hopefully they have some proof of the history on it. If you're mechanically inclined and now your way around a motor than 4 grand isnt insane, but if you dont know what you're doing a drz is always an option
Thanks @Dully! This would be my first husky, I can wrench but have mostly worked on ATVs, this would be my first real bike. All I've ridden thus far is a 2018 CSC TT250 lol. I may end up passing as I do see a lot of threads talking about parts being hard to find. I'd hate to buy and need a significant part a year from now. Thanks for your input!! Much appreciated
