    2008 wr250, rear caliper.

I need to find a set of pads for my dads wr250 in town TODAY. we are loaded on the trailer and heading to an event this afternoon.

can anyone tell me what other bikes (other than husqvarna) share the same pads? I need to call the local dealers and find a set.

    everything I can find says my '09 te310 and the '08 wr250 share the same part number but they aren't the same. are they the same as a '05 te510? (edit: just downloaded the part numbers from halls. '08 wr = 8000 79072, '09te = 8000 A2790, '05te = 8000 79072)

old pad on the left. new pad that rocky mountain says is correct and shipped me, on the right. :( pad on the right is also the same as my te310.

Find a KTM dealer. They also use the Brembo callipers and should have what you need.

I ran into a similar issue with my 09 WR250, the pads listed were too small for the calliper that was on that bike. I just took one of the pads with me and matched it up.

A lot of KTMs used to have the Brembo brakes and use the same pad. Rear EBC copper should be mxs208, front should be mxs181 or fa181x for carbon.

FYI brake pad part number are industry standard call outs a FA181 is 181 is a 181 different OEMs may add their own prefix of suffix like stated above EBC for the US market adds an X at the end for their carbon(red) pads.

example look here from this EBC dealer

That site is also showing the wr and the te310 to have the same 368x pads. They are NOT the same, as pictured in the OP

It's also showing different pads between the te510 and the wr, but I have both those in front of me and they ARE the same (208x)

I'm so confused. Hopefully I can hit ktm this afternoon and match something up on the way to camp.

    Thanks for the help everyone.

Mate, a TE510, I think, have a floating rear disk so the pads won't be same and l would take back those pads and tell your dealer you want and EBC rear pad #FA208
    http://ebcbrakes.com/Assets/ecatalogues/2015-Intl-MC-Catalogue/2015-intl-mc-catalogue.html#p=280

Thats the part number that fits my WR360 and 250.
