    Yeah, I commented on their Facebook page that the bodywork is hideous. This bike is FUGLY! But I'll bet she scoots. Maybe this is a concept version and the showroom model will be less… Austrian?

    They shoulda kept a couple of Husky's Italian designers.

    pezzo di merda... makes me want to buy a Beta even more now. Expected an offroad high tech knobby equipped, set the enduro world on fire all new Husky.......instead we get a BMW like quasi SM/ quasi streetbike styling exercise........Teste di cazzi Kappa T Emme

    Fallimento epico!

    I've owned bikes that some would consider ugly, but not even I would buy this bike based on how it looks. The only thing that might mitigate the unattractive styling would be very strong performance.

    Please tell me it's April 1st. I'm growing tired of all of the hype with clauses, and misperception.

    I think the SM types will love this when it hits the showroom. Because it will look nothing like this prototype.

    You guys must've forgotten what ugly truly is

    Yeah, granted it's no way nearly as pretty as the 2005 Italian Husky concept;
    the STR650
    [IMG]

    But it's definitely NOT as ugly as the 2009 Germtalian Hurlusky concepts;
    the Mille3
    [IMG]
    or the SMQ
    [IMG]

    Nothing can be uglier then those two Husky concepts (and I'm talking about in the whole history of motorcycles....EVER)
    Our lowest point have come and gone people.......we'll be alright

    .......I think :thinking:

    I would like to know what the guy in the background with the Blue/white shirt is thinking. Looks to me that this may be one of KTM's reject prototype bikes from years past. You know the guy who got fired for spending money on that thing. The plastic front brake line clamp does look nice though.

    I am not quite sure where to start on this one. Obviously it is not the greatest looking bike ever. But even more, what a strange choice of platforms for something that is going to herald the new era of KTM Husky's. This is clearly based on the 690 SMC, perhaps the single most irrelevant bike in the KTM line up. When the new 690 Duke came out last year, it pretty much killed this model. Technically they still sell it, but I am not sure I have even seen one for a few years.

    Don't get me wrong, if it has all the updates that went with the Duke, it will be an awesome performer, best in class. But the bike that really needs those updates, as well as a complete makeover is the 690 enduro. Take that platform, add a cool fairing, more fuel and a good seat, then you have the coolest middle weight ADV/Rally bike around. They could make a KTM version and a Husky version, it would look great in white.

    But this thing sure seems like it should say BMW on it somewhere.

    It is starting to grow on me a little and I bet in person looks kinda cool. Some of the angles in the pix it is almost borderline acceptable!

    they built one that I liked the design of. A true German / Italian look to it.

    - I know you and Chilly just threw up on your monitors. :D

    You know, it's kind of grown on me over time. I'll never appreciate the front fender/numberplate . However, it is hard to criticize that, ^^^^^. Clean and sharp!:thumbsup:
