Well, if you do (or if you want to prevent a precedent that could close your favorite public lands) then please go here... http://www.savethetrails.us/Default.aspx?PetitionID=44 ...check a few of the boxes on the left in random order and hit "send." After you send your letter, you will get an e-mail sent to you with a link in it. Click on that link and your letter will be sent It could only be easier if I were to come over to your house and put your fingers on your keyboard for you! Please do it for me. Thank you. Tami-
Don't forget to click on the link that will be emailed to you, or it will not be submitted. There may be a time limit for clicking on that link sent to you.
After you send your letter, you will get an e-mail sent to you with a link in it. Click on that link and your letter will be sent Sorry I didn't make that a little more clear in my initial post Thanks, everyone! WoodsChick
When I did it, it took me to a list of names. At the top of that page there was a warning that my input was not yet sent, that I needed to click on the confirmation link that was emailed to me. I went to my email account, the email was there, I clicked on the link, then my input was sent.
Also, feel free to forward a copy to your local Congresscritter and/or legislative body with a notation that you are a registered voter and would appreciate a response WoodsChick
Time is of the essence, everyone. We only have a few days left. Please click on the link in the first post and send in a few comments. The only things you have to actually type in are your name and e-mail address. The rest is just clicking on boxes. This is what we all stand to lose... And this is what we stand to gain by being complacent and apathetic...coming to public lands near you! WoodsChick
Yep, it was a repost...and a badly needed one at that Thanks for reminding me to bump it to the top. We only have a few days left. WoodsChick
