It's getting a little crowded in here! I guess I better quit lurking in this forum now Getting crowded in my garage, too... I might have to start calling my garage the Dog Pound 5 Huskys 3 GasGases 2 KTMs (the Suzuki and KTM on the patio don't count, do they?) On my way to work now. Too bad it's raining Man, the thrill of a new bike never gets old, does it?
So is that a newTR I see in the garage "poll position"? Edit: oops, I was looking at the pic on my phone, Congradulations!
Welcome to the forum, and it is nice to have another local with a Terra here. I was just in Oakland to meet with our state's leader! It was a comedy routine.... It does look like work actually gets done in that garage of yours. And do not forget that you can always get more bikes if you get a couple of lifts !
Woodschick and her husband picking up her new Husky at MotoXotica, as you can tell by her garage she is a VERY good customer of ours!
Looks like my house this summer. Fuinally brought myself to clear house and am down to basically a CR165, TE511 and TR650. Well and some projects here and there.
Hey, looks like my garage! So, if the wife has most of the bikes, a messy garage is OK right? Ha! Say Hi to Dan at MotoXotica. One of our trusty Husky dealers. Looking forward to the ride report. Dave
Thanks, Lonnie! That's always the plan Hah...I wish! Just for the record, I haven't bought myself a bike since my WR125 back in March of 2010 Thanks, Steve! Yeah, now I can keep up with Eric on his KTM 950 It'll handle the commute into SF quite nicely, too. As long as it isn't too windy on the bridge, anyway And, yes...pole position! There's a ton of work that goes on in that garage all the time! We really have to thin the herd one of these days. I'll be selling my SV650, but it lives on the back patio under an EZ-Up type of thing so that won't gain me any room, unfortunately And yes, our entire state's political situation is quite often a comedy routine
Well, only 3 of the 5 Huskys are mine (WR165, SM610, TR650,) one of the KTMs and one of the GasGases. So, I own 5 of the 10 bikes in there. My SV650 commuter lives on the patio so it doesn't count. Eric's KTM 950 was also parked on the patio when this photo was taken. It's usually wedged in there somewhere Thanks, Dan and Ann! You guys make it fun and easy. Thanks for being good to the Husky community Thanks, dave! I'm pretty happy with it so far, and it's about the furthest from perfect right now that it'll ever be. Can't wait to get it completely set up the way I like it. Tried to set the sag tonight but it is very apparent I will have to re-spring it. Got my controls and mirrors just how I like `em, and got my real genuine authentic Cafe Husky sticker installed Will take it out tomorrow if it's not raining! I envy you something fierce, Kelly! We really need to do something...it's on the verge of being out of control
That's probably not too far from the truth is it? My fancy bike shop is named Eric's Garage He busts his butt to make sure all our bikes are ready to go whenever we are. Love it! Oh, totally! I probably should have waited til I sold the SV, but then I wouldn't have a commuter and I'd be doomed!
Hey, the garage is his domain so if he wants to leave it messy I have no issue with it. Besides, at the moment we're neck and neck in the number of bikes we each have in there so I can't really say anything I'm sure it does
Beat it up on some rough stuff before you start setting the sag. Those new parts are pretty stiff. The sag on mine increased over an inch after about 500 miles of rough rock/dirt roads. BTW;Nice fleet...
Thanks, big-t! I'm pretty familiar with how stiff the Huskys can be when new. The problem is it's very tall for me right now...too tall for me to be riding it in the rough stuff. I tried to back off the preload but it's as soft as it goes. I'm getting 3/8" sag right at the moment :-) Maybe I should have Eric take it out and give it a good thrashing!
