hi to all just joined the site and new to the husky:) need some advice on the motor plz im all out of ideas...from the start i brought a 2000 husky 610sms and on the ride home blew the engine it took out the piston, bent the exhaust valves and locked the bottom end up  NOT HAPPY... took the husky to a local bike garage and after a few days the cost was massive to get repaired so looked for another engine sorced a bottom end fully re-built with talisan conrod after market piston new seals bearings the works and done by a company called dave clark racing :banana:was well chuffed when i had the engine delivered i took it back to the garage they ground new valves in to the head and mated the engine togeather......BUT there was to much compression for the starter to turn the motor over after the garage making a few calls around was informed to advance the timing or retard to get the motor to turn over easy:confused: after a month i got fedup and fetched the husky back (still not running ) now i have removed the engine myself pulled the head off to check for damage (by the garage) all seems ok to me put back togeather and set the timing back to tdc and adjusted the rockers to .2 the engine turned over easy by hand with the plug in and out however when i put the magneto side casing back on it really hard to turn over again and trying the car battery turned ok till the motor hits tdc and stops but if i remove the plug at this stage it turns over ok making me think it is the compression. while i had the head off i checked the auto de-comp and that workes in and out as i see it should. and advice would be much appreciated as im at the end of my teather and getting ready for a match in the tank:mad:
