    Awesome stuff!

The next step is to hard wire my garage door opener to the battery and put a switch on the bar clamp for it.

Interest set up. Can you mount a GPS or such like at the steering head bracket?

One mirror is included. The second one was extra.

I have GPS plans. On the bar clamp, the small pre drilled holes are for pushbutton switches. The two larger holes are for PowerLet outlets. The PowerLet outlets were also extra. I don't know if you could get some kind of GPS mount that fits the holes. I'm planning on just getting a Ram Mount that clamps onto the bars for mine.

Yes they do. They are flip out type mirrors that stow behind the hand guards when not needed. The system you see above is VERY solid. Some folks recoil at the price, but I feel you get what you pay for with Paul's stuff.

They're worth the money. This stuff is rock solid and very well made.

Paul will also do custom anodizing, I'm told. I just went with the standard colors. I wasn't interested in anodizing the handguards themselves, I figure they'll just get scuffed up.

Just had my first ride with them (commute to work). The mirrors are great!

I just finished wiring up my garage door opener as the first switch installed in the top clamp. It's awesome!

they look great, has anyone anodized entire handguards an has it held up ok? the bar clamp looks so good black i wonder what the entire setup would look like anodized black. what height bar clamps did you go with ? do bars feel further away from you by changing clamps from stockers to hdb ones?

I went with the stock sizing on the bar clamps. Bar position did not change. I thought about raising the bars up some, via taller bars, a taller lower clamp, or both. I ended up deciding against it. I wasn't sure how far I could go without replacing my cables with longer ones, and I'm not unhappy with the bars where they sit.

only reason i ask is stock bottom clamps set the bars back about an inch on my 310 so when i switch to hdb bottom clamp it is going to go forward.

I received a prototype mount for the Trail Tech Voyager GPS from Paul at HDB and have it mounted to my 610. It's very nice.

Picked up my HDB's couple days ago. Thanks to them for sending it out USPS to Canada! Much appreciated. [IMG] The kit came well packaged. Instructions were absent, but I figured it out more or less.

Tapping. I've done it a few times before, but they were for much smaller screws. I really wanted to get these guards on asap, so I just drilled and tapped with the bar on the bike. Not easy. And not perfectly straight, but they hold the screws well enough.
    HDB03.jpg
Here they are fully installed. These guards are solid. These are the Ultimate guards, fully anodized, powerlet top (with garage door button [IMG]), medium bottom. The mirrors at first I didn't like. But I'm getting used to them. They'd really benefit from having a third axis of adjustment imo. I've already dropped the bike a few times out there, but it was mostly in the grassy/muddy areas. No scratches on the black so far, but I'll see how they hold up after a few months. So yeah, just an awesome product bar none.
