I sat on a new Beta in the local dealers showroom. Even sitting still it made the xr250r in the same room look like an antique play thing.

No more 511 for me either. I'm putting all my eggs into the WR basket. That is until I win the lottery too. Or if PaulD wins, maybe he'll loan me some $s to buy a 300RR?? Maybe?

Wrf is in head shop awaiting valve stem seals and the valve seats to be cut n lapped in shimmed etc.
Just fiddling the supermoto wheels custom rear disc and axles making a spacer for caliper and sorting wiring.
Bottom end awaits a new balance shaft and cam chain guides.
berg just awaits a head but have already parted ways with it mate bought it off me as a completed project.

I'm waiting for the first manufacturer to offer a two stroke with e start, fuel injection and oil injection. A 400cc & 500cc would be nice too.

Me thinks that the issue is not the technology but the fact that a lot of systems are patented. The outboards for example have fuel injection on the 2 strokes.
BRP, honda, Athena and a few others own patents and obviously want some $$$ out of it. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure the likes of KTM are not willing to pay for that.
