I recently put a ironman 52 tooth sprocket on my 144.

It fit with stock chain but is at its limit. I also notice that it rubs the rear mud gaurd sometimes

Also i am gonna be switching tires to kenda millville 2 110/100-18 so that would be even closet to mud guard

So with a new chain should i add 2,3,4??

Always best to set the bike up then slap the chain on and mark it, then it is right.

you can only cut the chain to work every two as it has to mate with the other end.

Consider the steering changes that come with changing the length of the chain; longer wheelbase = slower turning and better @speed stability.
