Anyone have a video or something more specific than a flat chart like the image below on how to measure dirt bike handlebars?

I bent my Tommaselli bars (on my 2006 TE450) and am probably looking at getting a Pro Taper or Renthal bar. Tommaselli doesn't have any online info, in fact I can't even find a website for them. I tried a Husky dealer and they don't have a chart for the bars either.

I have measured using this chart below (Pro Taper), but it's not really exact where to start/end measurements, so an half inch can make a big difference is measuring from the wrong spot.

This seems to help some - bar thickness is measured at the clamp area and not the grip area.

    Now what about these?

Width - looks to be a measurement of from top of bar to bar ends.
Height - Is it from the center of the clamp area (center tube diameter) to the center of the grip (center tube diameter)
Rise - Is it from the center of the clamp area (center tube diameter) to the center tube of the bend to the control area. It's difficult to figure that one out where exactly the bend point should be measured to.
Clamp - I'm not too worried about this one as I know how wide my clamps are, so I just need to make sure the bar has that much length.
Sweep - Do you lay the bars down on the ground and measure from the center of the clamp area (center tube diameter) to center (tube) of the bar end?
Control area Is this measurement from center bar end to first bend at clamp area?

Based on this it looks like you go by the center of the bar diameter.

I gave up trying to measure the misalignment after the bike went down. I use the feel of the steering and bend the ends with a long piece of gas pipe until it feels right.

I have the original bars that came on the bike which are Tommaselli 7/8.
These are all fudgy numbers as:
    Width - 812mm
    Height - 95mm
    Rise - 57mm
    Clamp - 190mm
    Sweep - 50mm
    Control Area - 215mm

Again, fussy numbers as it is difficult to figure out where exactly to measure even with using center bar measurements. And it doesn't take much to be off by a lot, especially with Sweep.

I'm not trying to measure alignment, but figure out what these bars are to buy something comparable. But yeah, I guess if you're trying to get them back in spec, it's still the same - difficult.

Thanks to Columbia510 for his bar offer.

The '07Te510 has the exact same bars as the '06TE450.

Check out how much I bent my bars.
