250-500cc How to soften rear suspension?

Hi all.

I have a 1999 250 wr.
Im want to make rear suspension softer, its a litle hard. Ok for road, not so great offroad. When i look at the manual it look like the is a screw at the botton on the rear suspension. The pics arent that good, and the suspension is taken off the frame...
I had a litle look on my bike and i cant seem find it, maybe im looking for the wrong thing at the wrong place.. Just got this thing, so im new to this sort of bike...

Anyone here that can help me out.
Where do i look, a pic would really help me out.
