... well, kind of. It was my own stupid fault.
Anyway, here's the next installment of the 2010 TE250 as promised. Not as much ride time to offer unfortunately but you may find some of this vid insightful if you hurt yourself out on the trail.

Gotta love you Aussies. Crazy the lot of you!

Cool vid though and thanks for sharing. I sure hope I never have to deal with a dislocated shoulder, but it's nice having SOME idea what to do about it.

Oh, that made me wince... top tips though, you crazy bugger :)

Try the LeoVinci Pipe and ECU upgrade (hard parts catalogue) on the 250, you should be pleasantly suprised ;)

I like your videos - shooting, editing and overall quality - keep it comming.
My setup is almost identical to yours. I took the handlebar spacers even before my first ride on the bike, only that I used a shrter bolt and comletely took them off, instead of placing them under the tripleclamp. Other than softer fork and shock comp clicks (I ride mostly rocks) we are almost identical on suspension too.
I was wondering if you did anything about that off idle hesitation, which as you can check (4T section of the forum) we were messing a lot with lately. I got mine pretty good with lots of iBeat messing around and a new self built exhaust header, but as tiny as it is, its still there.
Get well quick, and back to riding vid shooting.

The ECU upgrade (with LV can) loses the hesitation at the bottom!

Yes, I know - a friend has it on his bike, and also we've discussed that (in the above mentioned location). However, I dont feel like spending that much for a performance upgrade, as all I'm asking for is a fluent running engine operation. I like the power as it is.

Hey thanks for the info guys, I had the EFI updates sorted by Husky last week but I'm yet to ride the bike. Need a couple more weeks of rehab on the wrist, then hopefully I'll be right to twist the throttle.

As it is I'm running a modified insert in the standard muffler with EFI values to suit. Should be sweet as it sounded strong and revved clean on the spot. I need it to come under 96db to get into the A4DE, which I've got exactly one month to be ready for. The Australian Four Day Enduro is our most prestigous enduro event Down Under. Kinda sucks cause I was starting to get some good bike time in and now I'm limited to off the bike training for a while. Anyway, I'm going to use the event for the next stages of the long term TE250 test.

p.s I'll get EFI values up here once I've tested the bike with the changes.

    Cheers

    Thanks ghte, I rode a 300cc Orange machine in 2007, but I did ride a Husky WR250 in 08.

One of the greatest dirt bike races on earth!

wow...That is a stud move to fix that wrist like that :0) I wreck alot and I'll remember that advice on fixing my self as needed on the trail... The pain explanation makes perfect sense to me ...

I'm also gonna try removing the spacer on the handlebar mount (at the 7:25 mark) and see how that effects my turning ... I feel like I still need something to help me in the really tight stuff...
Good luck on the healing and probably only time will help along with some beer for the pain ... I did find out beer is a good pain reliever on the way to a hospital after I broke my leg on the trail :( ... it does have certain side effects but what good drug does not? :)

Where the heck did the front end go in that wreck?

PS -- Probably a good idea to have the medical dis-claimer at the opening :)

Sorry for your injury Adam. I wonder what would have happened if the wrist was broke. Would it make it worse by pulling on it? I agree with you on the pain part. There's a window there that needs to be used before the REAL pain sets in. I broke my knee & rode out as soon as I saw it moving sideways. When i got back to the garage,I set in a recliner [yes i have a recliner in my garage] & it took 2 guy's to lift me out. I could not believe the pain! Good luck on the enduro & heal fast. Keep us posted. Very interesting.
