Well we did not win first overall but we did win our class. Mag 250 Expert BUT the important part is the fact it is a CR 125 you know the
little CR which not only has to race against the 250 and open class at every race BUT the fact it was a CR and the fact that every light company out there told me you CAN NOT make a race light work with a
stock Husky Cr 125 stator .Well with the help of Ridige Industries LED
and Ricky Stator rewind we did .Enought light to win a 100 mile desert night race. This race was very special to me it was the last race in a list of races i wanted to do on a stock CR 125 .This little stock CR 125
has gone 1 full year with out any motor work sure we were down on power at this race but we proved how tough a Husky 125 is one full year on a stock 125 motor .This 2008
CR 125 is the same bike that help me race and sometimes win in the following types of races AMA Nationals Hare and Hounds,AMA Dist 37
desert, enduros and gran prix.We also did local gran prix with a little motorcross mixed in.Plus round 1 of the AMA Western National Hare
Scrambles plus remember we always had to either race in the 250 or open class. So after all of this we win a night race i am so happy
Now finally i can open her up and see what makes her tick .

Robert You have seen my bike it is nothing special .But for a cheap
race bike you can not beat a Husky 125.For the average joe racer
it can win in just about every class maybe not a overall or pro class
but most of us are or will never be there .
It sure would be nice if Husky hooked me up with one of those factory 144 kits to test out for a year heard they look at this message board offen

Any chance of seeing a pic of the winning bike--with the LED lights?
    Really curious.

Kudos to you again on getting the job done. Again.

Mike i am running one 6 inch wide LED mounted in a 8 inch round
headlight fram. The 2 other bikes out there one being Nic Bursons factory Husky have 2 10 inch mounted in a custom square type fram
They have a much bigger stator output so more power more lights
I have pictures of there bikes and also mine and will try to post them up later.I did also mount this set up on my Husky 510 direct to the battery and rode around for awhile and it worked i am sure it is not steet legal
check out http://www.district37ama.org/forums/showthread.php?t=29639 for some pictures of Nics Husky or www.rigidindustries.com

and you can tell he [Nic] is using Goolsby's mount (KXF450 rider). Looks weird for sure, but sure seems to do the job!!! Very cool Tech!! Thanks for the post.
Goolsby was at the WHS at RynoLand that dude rails too.

Those LED lights are expensive. How bright are they say compared to a Halogen X2 or other 70w halogen light solutions? Might have been cheaper to spend the $$$ on the big stator solution and get the $80 X2? :excuseme:

The cost for my one 6 inch was 375.00 the company claims one 6 inch has more power then a 135 watt 8 inch round halogen . I am not so sure about that but for a 6 inch garentee unbreakable even if i crash for 1 year is a deal. As for the so call big stator who has one for a CR 125 do you I personally have looked and this is the only
thing i could find .If i go with a WR stator then i have to change the complet system
The little CR runs so well i wanted to keep it a CR Maybe i will get one of those Cyclop
helmet light or see about other helmet lighs .There are only a few night races so cost is a factor

CONGRATS! The little 125 that could. I road mine around today after playing with the jets. The whole time thinking "man this bike is fun". And in your case FAST.
