• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Husqvarna
Pro Class
Last Man Stand is rated in the top 10 world wide as a exstream off road event .Cory Graufunder factory Husky racer on the Husky 310 got 2nd overall and 2nd in the open pro class. Cory was leading a few times but had to stop to repair a shifter and lost some time but still finished second. There was a qualifier in the morning to set your starting row then there was LDS1 if you finished that you moved on to LDS2 and if you finished that you got to do LDS3 out of 98 starter only 6 made it to LDS3 where Cory finished 2nd
As for my race I qualified on the 17th row Finished LDS1 in time and moved on the LDS2 Where
I was the only guy left in the 250 class on the 165 but there were 4 guys in the 50A open class to race against Well I went the farthest. All the way to check 4 of LDS2 and was told I got the win for 50A

You wouldn't have happened to take video at this one? :)

I have ALL of LDS1 and up to check point 4 of LDS2 Then I ran around and got shots of Cory doing LDS3 Give me some time to edit it and post
Lots of funs stuff There were parts that were harder then King of the Moto plus all the water There is some stuff already posted at
www.district37ama.org in the photo section Go to message board then photo section So many guys were falling of the 2x6 plank that the hosting club let us try to ride thru the 3 feet deep water Where a lot of people were still drowning out The little Husky made it thru the water no problem

how did you chose the 165 over your 300 ?? just asking ?? Congrats on the ride

The fact that I am old and weak and the 165 is lighter to carry over the rocks and logs BUT the 165 does not have enought power to climb the big hills so I push alot Wish I could control the 300 in the really hard stuff but it is a handfull The 300 has been working perfect in the National Hare and Hounds
I am going to try some new stuff to the 300 and if it works I will ride it at King of the Moto in Feb
