Husky Hard Parts Triple Clamps - INSTALLED and PICS!

Hey everyone,
Just wanted to show a couple pictures of my triple clamps that I just installed today. The shop got them in this week and I was able to go to the shop and install them. Everything went together without a hitch and they are SUPER nice and quality. They adjustable from 15mm, 20mm, and 25mm offsets. Just thought I would share (oh yeah, the Hall's Cycles stickers are a custom touch.......stickers). Give Hall's Cycles a call if you're interested in getting a set of them! Peace.

I didn't install anything that cool, but I did make a set of Ti brake pins today.

BTW- What offset did you set them at ?

Those are very nice looking triple clamps. Do you know what offset the stock clamps are? Also how do you this set? I was looking at that little spacer thing and was not sure where it went.

According to placing these aftermarket ones next to the stock ones, the stock offset is 25mm. I am now running a 20mm offset. I'll try to take some more detailed pictures cause it's kinda hard to explain how they work, there are little inserts for the top and bottom clamps that adjusts it.

Yeah, going from 25mm to 20mm might seem like a lot BUT a lot of CRF owners buy aftermarket 22mm clamps so I'm not worried. I am VERY curious as to what it actually does to the bikes handling, I think it is going to be very noticeable. I couldn't really ask for any better front end set-up: Husky offset triple clamps, Ohlins TTX Inserts, coated lower fork tubes, 280mm rotor kit, SS brake line, ASV Levers, G2 throttle tube, and Renthal Twinwall bars.........I like it! Should be getting the matching Ohlins TTX complete shock next week and I'm anxious to see how that is combined with the front end. Thanks for the comments.

Yeah Blake, I think now you can check the box that the front end is done lol. Titanium front axle is the only thing else I can think of there I am really curious how the front end reacts going to 20mm.

Trust me, I've looked into Ti front and rear axles but it's just too expensive. It would be around $800 for both and that's just a bit steep....wish I could find some used ones somewhere for cheaper but it's not exactly a common item . I'll for sure post results of what I find after my next ride. Peace

I've been drooling over the Ohlins fork internals for a couple years now. How do you like them?

It's not 2010 anymore, lol. I guess I should give a ride report on these since I own those triples now. They are very nice and give a firm more precise steering. You can actually feel a little less flex in the front end which I like. Changing the offset is not that easy as the way the insert is you need a tool to get a hold of them. I have been pretty happy with the stock offset for off road but may try a different setting when I get bored. The ohlins shock Blake had was magic on my TXC, before I started moving clickers to try and make it a little better. Should have counted clickers before I messed with it. The Ohlins shock would stick to the ground on a rocky hill climb or not deflect on a log like nothing I've ridden before. TTX 44 Inserts were good but I am a fan of the CC KYB's so I did not notice as much of a difference.
