hello just wondering if anyone can help me ive recently brought a 2011 sm125 and is seems to be running pritty rich its blowing alot of spooge out of the exhaust and boging down in 1st/ 2nd gear at the start of a journey but once warmed up seems fine, ive tried adjusting the pilot air screw its curently at 1 and a half turn outwards realy want to avoid putting it into a garage if possible so any help would be apreciated! :oldman: also noticed it doesnt seem to have the stock exhaust its a husky pipe but i think its the full system they do could this be something to do with it? thers a slight bit of clutch slip in 1st aswell but think this is down to the midway adjuster being snapped on the threaded bar

If the bike is bogging while its cold, I'd say that's pretty normal. Until you "clear it out" and get it warmed up.

Have you done a compression test?

I would do the basic maintenance things including re-packing the silencer. Sealing the pipe junction.

I used to let my bike idle for 5mins to warm up. This created more spooge. If I start it and lightly rev it for 30 seconds, then ride it gently warming it up. I get almost no spooge.

i just did a spark plug change waiting on a new air filter although the one in ther at the min is pretty clean, its been running alot better after plug change but have notice the pipe joint seems to be leaking slightly. also got a grinding noise on the biting point pulling off in 1st but only hapens ocasionaly? went to adjust the midway to find that the threaded part of it has snaped in half so going to get a new clutch cable and see if its any better

I get that same grinding noise on my 05 wre [same engine], happens if i hold the clutch in between biting point and engaged too long, it's like a slight scraping sound, don't worry about it unless the clutch starts slipping, it may just be a bearing in there that's worn
