We had the first 6 hour (actualy 7.5 hours) race of the Road Trial series in South Australia yesturday, and I was very happy to see the number of Huskys in the start area. Of 125 Bikes there were 9 Huskys including one sidecar. Great work!!! I have never been at a race with over 7% Huskys before, so I'm hoping this is going to continue to be the norm:cheers:

Mine is the one on the right. No stickers because they just peel off anyway!

I managed to finish without too many issues. I dropped it in the rocks once and got a bruise or two, but nothing major. The bog holes caught a few guys out, but other than a loss of momentum and laying it over from hesitating on the last hole, I managed to get through without too much drama. I am expecting to come in last in my class, but I really only go in it to see if I can finish. So in that way it was a win for me

Husky side car with a high tech leading link front end. Very cool.

Next race is coming up on the 22nd, so I will keep an eye out for the sidecar again. I'll put up a couple more pics if I can.

    Looks like fun. :)

So.... can a side car do single track? Or was this a bit more open?

    Hi Coffee,
The sidecars do some extremely tight single track and some really amazing climbs. I would never have believed it if I hadn't actually seen it. There are a couple of races where they split the track for the sidcars to go around some really bad sections but they do most of the hard stuff just like the solos.

Nice side cars. I've seen some amazing pictures of them jumping off hills, like at an mx track.

Again...love that leading link front end. Bike looks outstanding, but what is the weight on that?
