Great vid. Riding smooth and fast, putting the Husky through its paces. Very cool.

Man that "slow" Tc250 sure looks fast! Very cool video thanks for sharing. Hey does Ryan get tired? He looks like he can ride that fast pace all day. I would need oxygen after a few hard laps like he was doing. Very well done Ryan.

Thanks for the comments, funny you should say that actually....

Since Ryan was 15 he's always rode an open class bike (12 years) and rode it very smooth, always a gear higher, and people always commented on the smoothness of his riding, so we always said 'yeh he's a big bike rider, a 250 wouldnt suit him'.

Then over in the UK evo racing is getting popular (an evo bike is 1983-1989 bikes) and we built an 88 CR250. Going from the 450 to the 250 2t, around the track in the vid, Ryan was nearly 2 seconds a lap faster on the evo than his 450 in a 25 min session! That when we came to the conclusion that we'd try a 250f.

He could ride the 450 at a good pace for 20 mins, but when reeeeally pushing it, he only had 2 super fast laps in him. Riding the TC250 he loves it, and his words are 'that bike is so fast, it pulls nearly as hard as my 450. I dont feel tired on that bike at all, I could ride that pinned for a 30 min race no probs'.

I dont think thats 100% down to being a 250, but alot to do with the actual Husky and the handling. We changed the rear sprocket to a 47 to enable him to use 2nd gear out of corners instead of 3rd, and its made the bike tonnes faster on top aswell, and holds the gears longer. A few people have tried our bike and loved it, and theyve said the bike is the fastest 250f they've ridden!
