    Dear friends,

Can you please help me, there´s no info about my problem on any page on the net.

The low end is really really weak.

It feels like if it were to rich, my dealer told me to move the screw that is located on the right of the throttle body, when I started it have 4 turns, I did as told 2 turns and it improve a little but not enough.

The bike was delivered with the exhaust open (no spark arrestor and no catalytic converter), with the OS plug and with the harness plug.

I drove the TC and it was dramatically different, I also drove a TE (also with the open exhaust and plugs) is no the king of the low end torque but it was decent.

According to my dealer this is normal at the beggining and with the screw on the throttle body I will be able to solve the problem, I don´t think that this will be that easy.

Can some body give some guidance to solve this, do I have to buy an aftermarket exhaust? or is there already a power comander for this bike?

I will reinstall the spart arrestor and see if it gains low end.

    Please help!!!

Just for the record the suspension is awsome and the light weight feel is great.

Your the first one i have heard of that has one on this side of the world. I do know husky engines are notoriously tight and gain power as they wear in. Pictures and info would be very cool.

Crossing my fingers the EFI/TXC models are not weaker performers than the carbed models like in the past.

    Conde,

You are the first person in north america that I know of, and one of the first in the world to have a 2010 TXC 250 so there is not going to be a lot of info yet. FI huskys in the last 2 years have come with a throttle stop. I guess it could be possible that yours also has a throttle stop. The throttle stop is on the right side of the throttle body, under the black plastic cover. I would think only the TE would have the stop, but anything is possible I guess. You might try taking off that black cover and seeing if there is a metal plate with 2 screws that prevents the throttle from being pulled all the way.

Felicidades con tu nueva moto! Todos estamos esperando los photos. Quieremos ver esa moto padrissima pronto!

If the throttle turns significantly less than a normal motorcycle, 1/8 turn instead of the normal 1/4 turn then it has a throttle stop... They may have done that for emissions reasons, especially in California, but I really doubt it.

Yes the PC V & Auto Tune should work on your bike, the Auto Tune creates the map for you so don't worry about the getting the exact map (physically all PC Vs, for all 2009s are the same, they only vary by map) - BUT, no one has ever put one on a new efi 250 yet, so no guarantees.

    2009 Husqvarna TE510 / SM510
    Power Commander V Part# 23-004 $359.95
    AutoTune Part # AT-200 $249.00

Personally I'd give it some time first. The 2008 bikes need the PCs much more than the 2009s, the 2009s ran really well.

My first guess would be that the efi settings are off. Take it back to your dealer and have them put it on the i-beat and check the settings. I am skeptical of your dealers knowledge of the efi bikes. Good luck!

    Conde,

Get some hours on the bike before trying anything. We have been told by the factory testers that the new 250 engine improves noticeably once run in fully and by fully I mean 15 -20 hours use.

After then if you are still unhappy then have your dealer recheck the EFI set up.

    Thanks for your feeback.
I will use it this weekend to fullfill the 15 to 20 hours, anyway if you know about anything that can help to reduce this I would realy apreciate it. I don´t know if its a good thing to be the first to own this bike there are not skid plates (stock one is to small), aftermarket exhaust (can you tell me if the one on the Leo Vince web page fit???), rear brake or rad protectors, etc.

Can you tell where can I get anything for the bike, Zipty have some items but nothing like the things I mention.

We'll have items available for the new 250's just as soon as we can. Can't wait to get my hands on a TXC 250. Rad guards, skid plates, engine bits and pieces are all parts we will eventually offer.

Does the TXC 250 have a dash computer or a low fuel light. Just wondering due to it being Fuel Injected. I would hate to think there was no warning running out of fuel.

No dash but there's a low fuel light mounted just behind the front numberboard.

Interesting. The carbed 09 TXCs have no reserve so I am suprised that they EFIs have a low fuel light. I wonder if it also serves as a "fail" light?

    No good news.

I,ll recive help from Leo Vince, Zyp Ty Racing and Dyno jet, the guys from Leo Vnce told me that the current system for the current TC can fit, but will only help me o boos the top and mid range of the power band, they rcomend the power commander V with the autotune tool, but dynojet don´t have it for my bike yet.
The gus from Zyp ty are using a Jardine exhaust (custom part for them, not fo sale yet).

I´ll adjust the screw that its on the right sid of the throttle body (on the manual just say that is for idle adjust, but my dealer said that is for adjust the air mixture). Any way it improves, but its still with the problem.

I just have done two oil changes with filter, a very carefull break in and yesterday after I wash my new bike (I don´t use my presure washer to hit directly in theelectrical parts) it did´t start up , afer two hours it fires up wih out any problem, I´m really disapointed tomorrow I´ll will go with my dealer to get a revision with the I-beat.

Can somebody from Husky sport help me? Can you ask to your friend in the factory if theres any cure or something I can do.

    Thanks!

    Conde,

Now the bike is fully run in, ask your dealer to recheck the EFI set up with the Ibeat and see if he can fine tune the mixture to improve the low speed running.

Also what gearing are you running?

    Conde,

Does the bike still lack power and you are not happy or does the bike just not run to your liking? You are the first to report with the new TXC with EFI and I wonder if the new TE will have similar issues. This engine has a very short stroke so I don't expect much low end power but since I'll buy one for the woods, it needs to at least have enough to run without bogging.

Post some pics if you get the chance. I'd love to see some photos of your bike and the areas you ride.

Hi NC, no the bike does not have any low end power at all, and it will happen the same with the TE it will bug (I just test one), they feel extremely weak but in the mid and high end, the feel really strong.

Dave, I´m running the original gearing 13/50, I just ordered a 52 teeth sproket to see if it improves, and I´m going to check a 14 teeth on the front (not together off course), I will try both to see how the bike reacts.

Today I talk with my dealer (which by the way have a great service) and he told me that they are going to review the FI mapping and also they will get in one week another (new) mapping from Husqvarna, it seems to be a general condition on this bikes and they are working on it.

He also told me that in 10 days Husqvarna will present the power up product line and accesories for this bikes, for shure they will have something for the bike.

Today I will send my bike (I don´t have an Ibeat) to their sevice to change the FI parameters, I will let you now the changes and if it works.

I will not give up on the bike, if I can get little more power on the low end for shure it will rocks, the handling is just amazing!!!

Thanks and I will keep in touch.

Not to stir up a firestorm... but...

Why would Mexico get the '10 TXC's before anyone else in the hemisphere?

    Just asking.
