Hi there I have a wr 300 2011 I have a problem getting into second gear not every time but most times I get stuck in netrual and it takes a few seconds for it to go in when bike is stoped it goes through gears no problem checked oil for any metal shavings but oil is clean I am thinking it could be a bent selector any help or advise given I'd be very grateful

There is a countersunk allen bolt that holds the selector star on the shift drum that has been known to come loose. I can't remember if the clutch has to come off to access it, but I think so.

Yep, definitely the issue. I had it as well.

Pull the clutch, pull the inner clutch cover. Pull the shifter out of the way. Pull the bolt out, clean it up and lock tite the shit out of it, put it all back together, ride on.
