after slogging through work with a slight dangle over from the two-and-a-half beer's i had last night, fixing two neighbors bikes, tires, filters etc. i just gotta make it outta here then let the 'ride energy' kick in...

pick up Ant and his KX500 'trail bike' and hit the spot, epic condtions.
trigger's gotta fatter main cuz it's cold and dry, and, crispy and rippin'.
get to bullsh** hill, Ant gets stuck, trigger's on it and carries a nice 6 mph 10" first gear front wheel loft up and over the slimy rock festooned 70 degree pitch. *yawn* oh it's so on now.

fast forward an hour later...coming down 'fall'. real steap, fast, 8' wide razor back that drops 1500' in pretty soon. it's windy, 20mph w/ 40mph gusts. wheelie over two rockers full of water on a false flat, and get caught with the front end up tapped in 4th, just in time for a 40mph gust, with a hard left coming up, with a 500' drop to the right and Ant on the 500 is right behind.

    oops.

on my third summersault i open my eyes when i hear my lid skidding on rocks and see trigger upside down 4' from me. and, Ant is 10' from the whole dealio and trying not to run me or the bike over and not fly off the side. i pop up on my feet, still on trail and like kinda go 'whoa'. all i got's is a badly bruised palm and re-mashed my mashed shoulder and a rung bell. i'm good to go. (wear the gear kids!) Ant's snappin', can't believe i'm alive....trigger's down, hard. Ant's making arm motions like a barrel rolling and i'm felling a little sick. walk back 50', argh...gimme a hand Ant. right the bike and:

top of front # plate: ground off.
brake hose: rashed and ground up. no leaks.
top of front fender and brace: ground off.
top and tip of rear fender: ground off.
rt fork guard: busted but still hanging on. (duct tape fix )
levers @ 6 o'clock (teflon wrap works). Cemoto factory hand sheilds still there. 1/2" dirt packed behind m/c guard and resivour.
muffler joint: broken. wth?? i dunno.
    everything else: rashed.
motosportz rad guards: work. thanks kel.
    BRP chain guide: pefect.
    subframe: straight.
    pipe and cases: perfect.
    bar: perfect.
    rt stantion: perfect.

straighten stuff out and rip another 90mins.

no pics: phone exploded in pack.

don't try this with those 'other' brands.

    husky's rule. mreeeep!

happy birthday trigger! (sorry lil buddy ).
    happy new year CH gang!

WOW quite a story glad you didn't get busted up and worse than you did. And you are right Husky bikes are tough! When I high sided my 09 TXC 510 it ended up with some front fender rash, pipe rash, and side number plate rash. Me I didn't do as good and ended up with five broken ribs, busted spleen, liver, and a big concussion. Hope you and your Husky get fully mended.

holy snikees, john. yikes man.

thanks gang. lil sore this morning. no big. wearing the gear, rolling and crashing on trail helps. got a few pre-wad pics off the exploded device in my pac.

1-3 super happy twisty, tacky fun trail. switchbacks, 4' kicker/water bars, hard to believe it's in LA.

    4- super happy pre-wad old guy...mreep!

5- kids resting. time fer a bath and teardown/inspect of trigger. reorg'ed my garage and it's now 100% honda free (i.e.- took out the trash :applause: )

happy new year kids! (now where's my cafe husky mug w/ the jack-n-coke, oh, there it is...ahhhhh)

been a LONG time since i took a hard digger. gear, crashing skills and some luck make the diff. kinda suprised the subframe didnt get ripped off. robust lil bugger.

your rad gurads did the trick too bro (again). upper plastics? yanked. rad's didnt leak a drop. still straight and good to go.
really looking fwd to your damper coming soon too...bike 'll be dialed then. mreeep!
