This ride was the last one before a scheduled periodic valve check, and this was the first time that I finally had to adjust one of the intakes. The bike has over 7600 miles on it. I ought to bake the bike a cake or something to celebrate.
There were actually two of those critters taking up space on the sidewalk. I decided that nothing ventured, nothing spat on and kept my distance, even though they seemed friendly enough. It would have been a long unpleasant ride back with camel chew all over me. It was unpleasant enough, the night the skunk got the front end of the bike.
The term camel (from the Arabic جمل, ǧml, derived from the triconsonantal root signifying "beauty") is also used more broadly to describe any of the six camel-like creatures in the family camelidae: the two true camels, and the four South American camelids: the llama, alpaca, guanaco, and vicuña there ya go class
The TE has been a very "less troublesome" machine. I have never owned any other four stroke, dirt or street that managed to go 7600 miles before a valve got out of adjustment.
My SV650 went 20,000 before having to adjust one valve Yeah, yeah, I know..."it's a twin" ...but split it in half and you've got 325cc's going 10,000 miles...right?? That Husky of yours is lookin' mighty purdy there, gal
Looks, it's red halter matches your bike. Better get one of those for your backyard. Don't tie it off on your bike or your bike will be dragged all over town! We can start call calling you Dirt Damai Lama as in Dalai Lama!
