I cannot remember where I saw that. That is exactly the type of thing that I want in the Corporate Important Info section so we can keep track of these things.

That was the link from the 4.99% ad you had up top, I just checked that site and the link is frozen, they are probably rewriting the ad, so the dates will be correct.

Either way these bikes are being made easily affordable to the masses.

Sounds like a great program to move a few more Huskys.
Definately a positive move. But I do see two negatives for me, the bike I want ('09 TC250) is not part of the program and secondly when the cost of new goes down so does resale value on used. So not only is my '07 is worth even less but I will have to pay retail on the new one. :(

With limited supply of '09 TC 250's and the huge demand, did you really expect a deal/discount?

Can you still obtain the special financing package if you negotaite a purchase price that is less than $1000 off?

Possibly if I recall correctly the the 4.99% required a minimum of 5000 financed, also no penalty for paying it off early. I talked to a few dealers with the old 08 deal and the dealers stated that they had to buy into the program, so depending on their sales volumes they may not want to discount much... if at all when financing.

You are very close to Taskys, I am sure you can get the discount from Jeff.

Not at all. I knew I would have to pay sticker price.

My point was this will drive the resale value of used down more. So essentially I could end up paying more difference now than when there was no incentive offering.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that this offer is bad. It will help the Husky brand in NA.

Ya I see where you're coming from...if you look at it that...it does suck.
Might be better off just keep'n your old bike and adding a new one to your
fleet. If you can afford it.

    There's always a downside...ain't there...:excuseme:

Rob Keith called me today and told me that Canada was included, but only for the rebate. Canadians will not get the full $1000 as we already are subsidized because of the crappy exchange rates right now.

My dealer knocked off a few hundred more in addition to the $1,000 factory discount. (It's the 3rd bike I've bought from them in 6 months)

The new TE310 will be in shortly :applause:

    Cheers, M.

I can only imagine Those orange bike dealers dropping a big turd seeing this. The average orange bike went up about $1000 from 08 to 09 and with husky not doing that and giving this incentive........... looks like some orange folks will go red after being bled white for the past couple of years.(could not resisit using the color theme!) Then once they recognize the quality of the husky........they will stay with the team and the stable grows and soon it looks like the pits in 1985 at the offroad races again. Great idea Husky N/A and thanks. Good to see Canada included too. It shows the attention to detail that Husky is committed to.

Yeah- what Joe said! My thoughts exactly.

Looks like I may have my brother talked into a new TE this year, and this is sure to push him over the edge.
