HUSQVARNA TXC449 DIRT RIDER'S BIKE OF THE YEAR Husqvarna TXC 449 is Dirt Rider's Best "Way More Different Than That" Bike of the year 2011 The price was one category in the Bike of the year election and is given to bikes which are much more different than the whole crowed or its parent model. According to the editor Husqvarna must have a time machine with which they traveled to the year 2020 and took the TXC449 to launch it in 2011 because that was his impression of the look and all the revolutionary ideas which were put in this bike.
After riding one for 1300 miles now I feel it is just a nice evolution of the motorcycle. Nothing way break through but what is implemented was done well and it is a very solid package especially for a first year effort. Has the feel of a bike with years of refinement. IMHO.
