Hi all. I have a '13 te449. Is there a way to adjust the bite point of the clutch?
To fully disengage the clutch I have to pull the lever almost to the handlebar so can't do single finger operation due to pinching the fingers on the grip. I also can't really move the lever further out due to my fingers being to short. Any suggestions on how to remedy this? Thanks

You may have air in the system from a leak or bacd seals at master or slave. There s no way to really change engagment point. Try bleeding the system and see if you can get it back to the mid point of the pull. Also cut your clutch lever to the size of 2 fingers. I did this and LOVE it. No more pinchy pinchy.

I agree with the bleeding suggestion as a first step.

you might consider an adjustable lever like this Brake & Clutch Lever Set for sale on ebay at a reasonable price ($55):

edit- even cheaper ($18-$24) but a little too feature-filled for me:

will replace fluids and bleed first and then maybe levers if I still need them. Thanks for the advice. :-)
