Picked up a fairly new Ibeat program with all the connectors to ad to my already growing list of tools. My question is :has anyone with extensive computer program knowledge been able to replicate the windows xp/vista version to run on the newer Windows format..like windows 10. My older XP laptop is getting very tired ,Whereas my Lenova laptop with Windows 10 is super fast
If just running the application is an issue on W10 you can install it in Compatibility Mode by right clicking the exe file and selecting Compatibility Mode and choosing XP Mode, etc.. I had to do this with all of Adobe CS5.
iBeat doesn't exactly need a lot of computing power, I wouldn't worry about your XP laptop being tired.
I think the issue is iBeat needs a 32bit version of windows and newer versions are 64bit. Compatibility mode forces windows to use 32bit mode.
