• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I Got an Email from Jenna today

Great news from Jenna today
1) she's still administering the Husky contingency program
2) the contingency program continues unchanged thru 12-31-13

Yes, and she sent me two HuskyBucks certificates....
On the other hand the email today was about the temporarily missing claim form on the new website...email Jenna and she can set you up if you didnt get her message.

Greetings friends,
A new Husqvarna website was recently launched. As many of you have noticed the regular contingency page is absent. While in transition, the 2013 Race Contingency Program for Husqvarna in the US is still in place. All rules still apply – I have attached the rules for your reference. Until we are able to get a claim form available online please fill out the attached claim form and email directly to me atjenna.parker@husqvarna-motorcyclesna.com no more than 30 days past the date of event and no later than December 31, 2013.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

If you have yet to complete your registration requirements please do so as soon as possible so you don’t miss out on the opportunity to participate in the 2013 Race Contingency Program for Husqvarna. If you need to confirm your eligibility please email me.

The 2013 Race Contingency Program is subject to change without notice. Husqvarna’s interpretation of the program rules is final.

Thank you,
Jenna

Jenna is awesome shes one of the hardest working you gals I ever have seen, she gets #@&* done!!:applause:

Haha I knew you were just bustin.
Funny thing I saw today...I did one AMA National Hare Scramble this year which was a 3 hour race. It was awesome but tough. I ended up getting 3rd in my class. I went on the AMA site today and saw that Im 10th in B Vet for the year haha. With one race! Thats pretty funny.
I think I can safely hold on to 8th or maybe better for this year in ECEA and if that's the case, I couldnt ask for anything more! I feel so lucky just to be out there racing. Anything else is just extra toppings on my sundae lol

Same Email which is funny as I was just trying to submit last night and was worried that we were out of luck.

MMMmmmmmm. Jenna .....

sounds like bad news to me... looks like dec 31st will be the end of the best contingency program ever!!! I loved that grassroots marketing!!!

Who has the most certificates so far??? Im at 25 so far! Mostly wins, but only in the C-class so its not a ton of $. Itll still help with the cost of the 14 tho!

Anyone have a e-mail for the program. I had signed up earlier this year and didn't think I would do well and lost her last e-mail, just didn't save it. Checked the Husky site and get a 404 error.
