Check out 7602 racings guards, really good stuff and looks great! As far as skid plates I like the plastic ones, TM being the top. A lot of people are also talkibg about linkage guards lately, slavens racing and obie link guard are the cheaper options.

    Congrats on the new bike!

I like Unabiker stuff.... Radiator guards are awesome.... and if you like metal skidplate they are solid....

If plastic which I like then www.sxslidepate.com you can get with or without the linkage guard

The thing I would point out about the Bullet Proof Guards is they are front impact guards and not braces.... go for the kind that wrap around.....

"+ 1" on the "7602 Radiator guards". I love mine and the front stock louvers can still be used or the Front brush guard puncture protection grilles are removable and they are the full wrap around frame type design.

I run a "P3" Carbon Fiber Skid plate, you can find them for a good discount at times on ebay. I paid 100.00 for mine. As it was a production second, which means it may have an imperfection from it coming out of the mold on its outer surface. Who cares ? That's not going to matter much or be hurting anything after the first few times it jumps a few stumps or a few big rocks. Mine has held up really well for about 100 hours.

For linkage protection, I use a "Slavens Linkage Guard". His linkage guards are pretty damned hard to tear up and individual parts for them are sold separately. I have a pair of spare Blue side plates for mine and got them sent to me for free. Its the best $90 bucks you can spend on fully protecting the linkage. It fully encloses and encapsulates the entire linkage. Its easy to rinse out too. Nothing will be slamming the linkage like plastic guards can still allow to happen.

An "Obie link" linkage skid will work with the "Slavens Linkage Guard" too, if you want a plastic slider type for the ultimate in protection.

7602 Racing armor is the best there is. I've got every armor piece Clay makes on my bikes.

Here's my '15 TC250 armored up for the woods.

When buying rad guards be warned ..the shroud design of a 2016 TE is designed to dent the radiator..i installed factory husky rad guards and layed my bike over just basically fell and the shroud pushed the rad and dented it..the issue is with the opening in the shroud the fold almost touches the rad so all it takes is a little pressure to dent ..you will need full wrap outside protection to avoid this..not a very thought out design..take a look at yours you will see what i am talking about.

I used to run the cycra probends but in the tight woods stuff we have here, I've found the Enduro Engineering hand guards do a better job of keeping my fingers from getting slapped by tree branches. The Cycras have a tendency to leave your outer fingers exposed but they are still good guards. My 2 cents worth.
