Ok I'm still in the dark ages with a old $15 Nokia zeroG dumb phone. Many new smart phones have more powerful processors (even dual core now) in them than my 7 year old laptop. Anybody try connecting their smart phone to iBeat? If yes please post make/model of phone and whether it worked or not. Wouldn't it be nice to mount a phone on your bars and use it as a display for water temp, air temp, battery voltage, gear position, etc. And best of all you could change FB settings on the fly. Slabbing it for 100 miles adjust for economy, off road adjust back for max power. _
Probably not going to happen, unless someone reverse engineers iBeat and writes a smartphone app for it.
Personally I think ibeat will go away for husky before it ever gets a smart phone app. I think they will change completly over to a different system. Beside ibeat isnt really intended for public use mostly just for dealers.
