I'm installing an ICO to the 610 this weekend.

I'm wondering if there is a way to connect this into the existing sensor line to the front wheel?

If so, any tips on a convienient place to hook the ICO into the sensor line?

Yes you can do it that way. That's how mine is. Leave a good amount of the ICO cable to allow for the fork movement and splice into the speedo wire where you want. I did mine all on top close to the Husky speedo plug, very small wires so be careful!!! The bike switch will have to be "on" for the ICO to work, twist or test jump your connection then spin the wheel with the ICO in speedometer and see if it registers, if not, reverse the wires and check again, then button it up, set the diameter etc. and you're good to go. The ICO has to be "on" too for the bike speedometer to work. If you damage the ICO cable on the trail, you'll have to unplug the ICO to get the bike speedo to work, (happened to my buddy), hope this helps, feel free to pm. me if you need more help...... Good Luck SA

So by tapping into the standards speedo cable, is it possible to have both the Husky speedo, as well as the ICO operational?

Also, whats inside the standard cable?
    Just 2 wires?

Yes and yes..... but they only work one way, and they are really small, make sure to test spin the wheel before you button it up. when you're done, both speedometers will work ay the same time while you're riding, kind of freaky but it works, and if you get the calibration right, you'll see how far off the stock one is........

    YES!!
I have exact same set up on my te450 but tapped in a second pick up for redundancy. Did a nice write with pics. Will dig up pics and write up here when I get near a computer more capable than my phone.

   , not yet.

    Probably do it tonight.

Wish i could find some Plugs the same as the speedo sensor ones, so that i could make a short piece that plugs between the sensor and the speedo cables, that has the ICO in it.
That way making it easier to remove the ICO etc.

    Will post photos once complete

I'll have to get pics. of mine for you...... Use the "screw together" plug for the ICO, screw the ICO pick up cable to the ICO unit lead. go out about 10" or so and make your cut there. Then tap into the motorcycle cable like I said in the other reply..... when you want to remove the ICO, just unscrew the ICO connector and you're on your way. I even put a rubber vacum plug on the connector for protection and you're all set.... good luck.....
