That was one amazing dude right there. I did not know him at all but was in line in front of me in 99 or 2000 (I think) for inspection for the Idaho City ISDE. Had a nice chat with him for about 15 minutes as we waited out turn. Was as down to earth as they come. RIP Kurt.
That guy was just one fantastic human being and a gift to the sport. This world lost a lot when we lost Kurt. The term a natural rider really fit him perfectly. RIP Kurt....
I was at the Husky Monument this weekend and saw what appeared to be a reserved space next to Kurt's Father's memorial where Kurt will also be memorialized. Very cool!
Wife was stopped by a viejito at the gas station last night. Guy saw the Caselli 66 sticker in the window. Went on about how he got to ride w/KC [once] but saw him quite a bit out at Lucerne. One can be out in the land of T-Mec @ a gas station and a convrsation about KC66 can start up right out of thin air.
