Anyone else having trouble with their key and ignition? I can insert and remove the key just fine but it won't turn. This is the second time its happened in about a week, both times the steering lock has been on. The first time I somehow managed to get the key to turn, although it doesn't look like I am going to be as lucky this second time around. My bike has been stuck in the garage with the steering lock engaged for a couple days now.......I wonder if my shop makes warranty covered house calls haha Anybody have any ideas?
Most bikes with steering locks will do that until you jiggle the steering a bit and it falls into that sweet spot. This may not apply to your situation but I have to sometimes get my forks in the right place before the lock opens and I can turn the bike on.
So i got it unlocked. I had to jiggle the key back and forth length wise in the slot with the key going in and out at angle. That probably makes no sense haha.
