Ignition switch problem 08 610

The Bike is an 08 TE610.

When I turn the Ignition Switch on, the Bike does not always turn on. Sometimes I have to turn the switch off and on again, or I have to wiggle the Key.

I was just wondering if there is a fix by cleaning something or do I need a new switch.

Mine did that for 6months. Then one day my stock battery finally went. Has never done it since I replaced the battery.. wierd. Could be the switch though for you.

My Battery is three years old. It wouldn't hurt to replace it.

Or try cleaning the switch with contact cleaner spray...
