This is one of those bucket list enduros!! I know some guys who have done it and just loved it. Tough and challenging for sure. Best of luck, conserve ride smart and get to the finish!!

I'm super stoked. Myself and two buddys are gonna do it together. Sort if like a team. Stick together and help each other out. We are all on big bores. 08 wr300, 09 Ktm 300, cr500af. We all are running nuetech tubliss so we don't have to worry about flats. That lava will eat tires. Getting pipe cages made, we all have bulletproof designs rad guards. Skid plates. What else should we take on the ride? So far I'm thinking mule tape, plugs, 3 liters of coconut water, maybe cliff bars it something similar. None of us have done a race like this. We all are in great physical condition. I have ran several marathons and go to the gym on a daily basis. So physically we are good to go in that department. Any other ideas??

Bosu ball training is the shizl for dirt bike training. Try balancing on one for over an hour with different excercises as you watch tv or something. You wont be able to seriously walk the next day. Its done absolute wonders for my reflexes in the the tight stuff over distances. Wish I discovered it 20 yrs ago when I was raicing more seriously.
