I was up at Walker Valley yesterday riding with a buddy of mine. He likes it gnarly and I like my share of technical riding. Here is some video:
You'll have to excuse the language on this one! Nice videos! I've only ridden there once but it was fun.... You need to come about 2 hours north to really find the gnar. There is a thursday night learn to hate ride every thursday at 5:00pm http://maps.google.ca/maps?f=d&sour....21303&sspn=0.025323,0.044417&ie=UTF8&t=h&z=9
I would love to make a trip of it...not sure if I'm ready for that kind of GNAR just yet. The Funky Town trail/video is just brutal...hence the cussing.
First video looked like a fun trail. Second one looked like just a workout and time to break out the trials tires.
Funny you should say that...I'm currently running a Dunlop D803 trials tire and I love it! The first trail was fun and I got to pass my hero as he stalled out on the hill.
We ride Walker a few times a month, you gotta love that place. Nice work on the video, it looks totally different from the camera angle, took me five minutes to figure out where you guys were at. I've been riding there on a regular basis for the last eight years and have not tired of the place. There are trails that will give you a work out that's for sure. Keep the video coming. That bike of yours sounds pretty smooth as well!
