Can anyone give me some info on a 2003 TE610E? I understand there is not alot of aftermarket support, but what about factory parts avilabilty? Can parts from later year 610s be used for the engine, driveline, etc? How are the suspenders on these bikes? Are there upgrades for the springs etc? Is it the 2003 that has the low air intake? What kind of HP do these bikes make? Are these a good choice for ADV style riding if you can get past the lack of oftermarket support of ad-on etc?

Sorry for all the questions, any info would be appreciated, thanks

Implies only limited number of this model year were imported, and are set up for Europe. Forks are regular style, not upside down. You might give a Husky dealer a phone call and see what they carry for parts. Uptite, Halls, Tasky, etc. Given the low number of these sold in the US, not likely to see parts listed online much. Probably sitting in back room shelves.

I have an '03 I bought new in '04. It's a great bike, with a few things better than the later 610..... headlight, seat, lower seat height. A little more street oriented than the newer bike, but very capable. I'm late for work, so I'll post more later.
