input on mossbarger reed set up

hey boys, anyone used a mossbarger reed set up would like pros and cons on how much better is it than stock 1981 cr 430 set up.

It's good if you're a faster guy (upper end breathes better) but when combined with a flat slide carb it rips. Just remember that it's about 3/4" longer than stock so you need to trim the air boot.

As lefty has said mate better top end you need to get the barrel ported to really take advantage of the reeds and the 38mm is the go more air speed the pic bellow is a set on my 420 Auto and they are longer so as lefty said the boot needs a trim go bigger on your main and richer on the needle ride it for a while checking the spark plug color then gradually lean it off until it feels best.
