Quick question. Can someone post a close up of the bar end grip before/after the install of HDB handguards to show how much of it you cut off? I guess I'm wondering cuz the end of the grip sort of looks like a cap and it seems like it might come off? Or did you guys just take a knife to the very tip of the grip?

    Thanks,

    Alex

The stock Husky grips? The end piece is about 1/8" thick beyond the end of the bar, and it's part of the grip. You'll have to take a razor knife to it.

Thx. Do you cut it flush with the actual bar end? Or do you have to remove a little extra?

You want to make sure on the throttle side to get enough off so there is no overhang. Then move the throttle in slightly so it does not rub on the guard. Basically you want to make sure everything is clear enough to not make the throttle hang up or have resistance.
