This is from a private riding area in the Loess Hills on the western edge of Iowa, riding my TE250 last weekend. It's only about 200 acres but it's just full of single track, some of it's just insane for the steepness, the video really flattens it out. i haven't developed the balls yet to try some steeper stuff. I am all ready geared at 12/54, but think I am wanting a few more teeth on the rear for riding this area. There is a little of my 12 yr old daughter trying out her KX80 on some of the leveler single track. She's just learning to use a clutch and getting used to the powerband of the two stroke, but she will tacke all the big hills on her KLX 110 4-stroke with autoclutch. She is 5'7" and dwarfs the 110. She definately likes the bigger wheels and better suspension of the two stroke, but the powerband hit still makes her nervous. There is an enduro in October that in this area with two 40 mile loops that I think I am going to try to do. :p

    Terry-

The Bartlett enduro is a great time, except for the three trees about 4 miles in that conspired to clean me straight off the bike last year on lap 2. And succeeded. The first one grabbed my bar, the second my right knee, and the third was laughing as I tumbled by and laid there dazed for a few minutes.

You should come over to the Winterset Enduro in early September as well. Really fun and flowy course.

    Thanks
Yep, thats the one I was talking about, the rolling hills enduro in bartlett. The other one, I had forgotten about that I checked all ready for dates. There is one of the hare scrambles that I can make in Nov. My wife works 12 hr shifts friday, sat, and sunday every other weekend. So, the weekends she doesn't work are my only weekends to goof off and ride events. The second event is on one of my free weekends, but I am doing a street ride that weekend to Arkansas with this group.

I street ride regularly with some guys from the Des Moines area.
