I just watched my husky (07 TE 510) leave in the back of someone else's truck. I wanted it gone thats why I put it up for sale but still tough to see it go.

I just want to take the time to thank everyone on this site for the information and insight you provide. I owned a Husky back in the late 80's as well and what a difference the internet has made. Back then I was on my own, now we have thousands of people to rely on for information.

If husky comes out with a new 300 2 stroke I'll come back, but for now I'll stick to what I know, the Gas Gas.
Nothing bad to say about the brand, I came back, tried the 4 stroke, didn't work for me.

So have beer with me  and pat your selfs on the back for a job well done with the web site.

I know how ya feel. I let a two stroke go about three months ago, because I have a few of them and maybe a bit too many. I love two strokes and though I have been riding four strokes for about nine years now, I never really have gotten used to them. But here in California, they make it really hard to ride a two stroke on public land and pretty well impossible on the street, so four strokes it is, sadly. I'd love to be able to ride my two strokes anywhere and any time I pleased and hang a plate off the back of them and if I could, I probably wouldn't own a four stroke except for my street bike.

Best of luck! I took a stab at 4 strokes with an '01 TE400, but went back 2 stroke for the woods. When it looked like Husky was going to stop importing 2 strokes to North America (None imported in '05), I was ready to go Gas Gas for my next bike. I wouldn't be too quick to write off the '09/'10 WR300.

I've been on the gasser for a year now, I haven't been on a Husky 2 stroke for 20 years. The TE 510 had a nice large rider compartment, the gasser is a little small for 6'3" 245#. If they do come out with an all new 2 stroke I'll give it a go.

But once again the main point of this thread was to thank all of you for the help and support over the last few years.

Come back and chat sometime Dave.

As far as I'm concerned GG is a close relative to our Huskys anyway.

    Both are fine bikes.

I know how you feel about an old friend leaving. I just watched my first "H" Dual sport bike go away too. Not the prettiest thing to do. It may have not been a Husky, but it was a great bike for sure. The good news is that Renazco Racing is the new owner and I am getting some new seats for my Husky's.

Nothing, but I'll take a serious look at an upgraded model with electric start, new ergos and engine.
