just got back from playin' hookey, 55 miles, sunny 65* epic 10 year alpine conditions, mud, rocks, snow, ice, loam, sand, creeks, giant forest rockers, giant puddles in said rockers, boots fullla water, giant trees knocking ya back on the trail , a log (did it twice just because i need the practice), 1st and 2nd gear twisties, clutch smokin' climbs, WFO two-track with rollers and lined with trees *mrrreeeeeeeeep!* catching big air, going off, stuck under logs, harpooned shoulder, death drops, boulders, little 125 in the corners first and out on the back wheel, ripping, ripping, ripping some more, did the last 5 miles of a fast 2000' whooped out drop w/ wicked ruts and rocks and "surpises!" unknowlingly with a

    flat

    front

    tire!

Yeah, well, I hate you both because my WR suspension is at Les's and the only riding I did today was my daily commute into San Francisco:(

Sounds like a rockin' good time

Don't feel like the lone ranger, the only riding I've got in for months now is the occasional commute to work :banghead:.
On the lighter side, crunch time is over and things are beginning to to settle down so I may get ride time in before long.:applause:

I got a chance to take the bike out today for the first time in about 4 weeks. It felt so good!

The bike ran flawlessly (well as good as the TMX can), and fast. My buddy was on a WR250F (the Yamaha version, haha). He commented several times that about how I was able to flick and manhandle the bike.

I cannot wait until after I do my summer overall. Better tires, 144 kit, PWK, and large tank (???).

There are skeptics. I have been chatting with a fellow who tests bikes for a publication and when I mentioned that the WR125 had quite the cult following, he poo-pood the idea that the bike could have any sort of measurable powerband worthy of taking on a gnarly trail. I can't wait to check one out and be able to report back to him that the claims are all true.

I we have gnarly crap here in the NW and i have to say the WR125 will climb with the best of them. The 125 LOVES to gobble up technical stuff. I have topped many a nasty hill and sat there waiting for friends to stop swearing at their 300's and 450 while they overheat and blow water. I pride myself in the ability to climb nasty hills and this bike does not limit me. On open fast loose hills the 300/450 will walk away from you but you'll just pass them on the next flat or down hill.

When things get nastly sloppy rainny muddy snowy etc the 125 rules.
