I think you're correct . Usgp at Unadilla . 79 or 80 , don't remember which . I think 1980 .

In 79 Hakan was world champ on hva.
In 80 he moved to Yamaha.

'79, Carla's bike had prototype '80 frame with 40mm forks and the prototype primary kick engine that came out in '82 with the 250s.

I fairly certain it is. I was there that day. Not only did he use the front wheel ( see how forward he is on bike ) for turning. But he would also throw the rear out keep revs up and deflect against the berm and rocket/explode the bike out of the turn especially the large long uphill before the screw u downhill. Almost like a mini power slide before he touched the berm.

Never forget it.
