My question regards two things, one is my powervalve/cdi the other is the throttle cable routing! (Any help at all is appreciated)
So I now own a Husqvarna SMS 125 of which used to belong to CreamSodaUK, however i'm having intermittent issues with my powervalve working on and off, I wonder if this is down to the 2012 CDI that's on there(the bikes a 2007 with 2008 plastics) it's got the stock carb and i've been told it wouldn't most likely be any sensors as the 38ml boys don't have a TPS etc so any help at all is HUGELY appreciated!! Thanks all!

do you mean the powervalve motor isn't turning at high enough revs, ie, you rev bike up and the moto with the cables on it above the kickstart doesnt flick back and forth, same as when you turn the key ignition on, the pv motor should do a self clean? Or that the pv moto turns but doesnt turn the powervalves themselves down in the cylinder?

It rarely works at all, the motor does work and I have checked all electronical cables etc but sometimes the servo works other times it doesn't!

you mean you put one of those multi metre things on the electrical cables to see if they had power going through them? If it sometimes works I can only think it's a cdi issue, not realising it needs to send the power to the motor at the right time. How come it's got the later cdi on it? you can buy these

which fits up to 06 ish time, plus if yours has the dellorto 28mil carb with the oil line coming into it from the pump I don't see why it would be any different like with sensors, I thought the cdi only sent the signal to turn the pv motor when it realises the engines hitting 6500 revs ish then slowly increases it from there
