    Common problem I'm sure...

The upper shroud bolt tab snapped off and the shroud is flapping in the breeze.

Will JB Weld make a suitable repair?

I want to fix it before the lower tab goes away too.

    Thanks

I had the same issue and attached a little steel tab with a sheet metal screw right through the aluminum side of the radiator. Two years, lots of crashes and it's still going strong.Pre drill the hole in the tab for the shroud first and don't use a long screw that will damage the radiator.

On my last trip away we I cracked the core in the very top corner of my rad.

Pulled the fins out around it which also put holes in the core too.

JB welded it up and left it for about 2 hours.

Done 30 hours since then and no probs.

    AWESOME STUFF!!!

I JB welded it last night and I'm going to rivet a reinforcement out of aluminum sheet over it.

I see the point about using a short screw if you screw it on.

I have used JB Weld for years with very good results. Have had BAD results with the JB Quick.
