    Yer maw !
well after 6mths of a love hate relationship with my te510, i finally bought a wr250f... main reasons, much lighter, smaller , easier to handle in tight st and parts availability in oz..

i loved the beast but was tiring me out no end in my usual riding spots and since moving over to the yammy, i am much faster, not as tired and i know its cheaper to repair and lower maintenance !

it certainly doesnt have the husky charisma and handsome looks but for my build (68kg and short arse) its perfect at the moment !..

i dearly wanted a new te250 but parents shooting off home to the UK kinda meant i was obliged to buy their jeep ( i was looking for a new car anyway) but spent more on the car than i would have allowing me then to buy a new bike but hey, its turned out ok..

so, until i get my finances in order and my new business up and scoring some decent orders (*link removed*) i will have to make do with the yammy which i love incidentally, its a great bike !

i'll still lurk around as i am a huge husky fan and the site has been fantastic source of info and top blokes too !
when i can afford a new bike, the new te250 is for me !
and a huge thanks to Blake (mxer74) for all his parts ! pm me when more available ! lol.. :)

Good luck rabs. I think you'll be back eventually. Husky's get in your blood. The Yammies are good bikes too. Thank God you didn't get a Honda!

What year WR did you get?

My buddy had an 07' and it was a nice bike. Good handling, suspension and brakes, but could have used some more power.

And there's no reason to own only one brand. I have a WR, YZ, KX and 2 CRF's (wife and sons) in the garage. They all seem to get along fine!

I saw the "Jump Ship" title and was sure it was some other Husky brother that I won't mention who started the thread. This secret keeping business is for the birds I tell ya.

Good luck with the Yammie. I know a couple guys who have gone smaller (ie; 250) and gotten faster. Doubt it would help me, I'm just slow.

Sorry Kurt, I hate keeping secret too. Rabskyline sorry for the small highjack.

I also jumped ship with my 09 WR 125 and brought home this little puppy from the bike show last week.
So far I've only been around the block. As I'm been kinda busy with work. Once I get up in the hills with her I say more.

Not to worry my TE 510 will always be my favorite.:D
